She laid her body on the bed right after she got home. As she closed her eyes, a thousand thoughts buzzed her mind.
It was a long, draining day. She thought she could rest after she got home. Yet her mind did not seem to desire the same thing; it did not stop wandering.
She stared at the ceiling; thinking of the feelings, doubting the decision that has been taken, beating herself up with the 'what ifs'. Her 16-meter-square room became so noisy that night. She was drowned beneath the waves of her own thoughts, made of despair. She did not cry, her tears have dried, but, unfortunately, the pain still drowns. These days she does not know who she is. These days she does not where she is. These days she does not know; she is lost.
She then closed her eyes once more for 5 seconds to quiet her mind. She opened her eyes and eventually came back to her senses.
As her mind started turning down, the feeling of emptiness crept in...
—Life is indeed harsh on her lately. But she believes that things will seem much better in the morning light. So will she.
